4. Citizen Comments:  This is an opportunity for members of the audience to be heard for a maximum of five (5) minutes on any topic not on the agenda as it relates to the Douglas County Criminal Justice System. However, under the Open Meetings Act, agenda items should give reasonable notice of the matters to be considered by the Douglas County Criminal Justice System Management Council so that the public will know which matters are under consideration. As a result, members of the Management Council will not engage in discussions, conversations, debates, or take action on any item presented during Citizen Comments. During Citizen Comments, the Chair will keep order and a citizen may be called “out of order” for disruptive conduct or behavior.

PENSION COMMITTEE MEETING

 

The Douglas County Pension Committee will meet on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 903 on the 9th floor of the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE. A copy of the Open Meetings Act is available in Room 903.  The agenda is kept continually current and made available by the Director of Finance for Douglas County, Nebraska, LC 2 Civic Center, during normal business hours. Any agenda item may be moved at any time at the discretion of the Committee Chair. Executive Session: We reserve the right to enter an executive session in order to protect the public interest with respect to discussions as permitted by Neb.Rev.Stat. §84-1410.
