PUBLIC NOTICE

Siena Francis House, Inc., a Nebraska non-profit corporation (“SFH”) is applying for a

Brownfield Cleanup Grant (the “Grant”) from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”). The Grant will provide SFH funding to remediate contaminants present at the former AAA Welding Site, as described as follows (the “Site”):

Legal Description:

Lots 7, 8, and 9, Block 181.5, City Lots, City of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and, Lots 13 and 15, Block 0, Omaha Buildings & Savings Associations Addition to the City of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.

Application. SFH’s draft application for the Grant (the “Application”) and draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (the “ABCA”) for the Site, are available for public review at:

Submitting Comments. Any member of the public may make comments on the Application and ABCA. They may either make comments at the public meeting (described below) or by submitting written comments by email to:

Members of the public must submit written comments by 4:00 PM, CST, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. SFH is required to submit all public comments it receives to the EPA as part of the Application.

Public Meeting. SFH will hold a Public Meeting to present the proposed cleanup plan,

review the draft Application and ABCA, discuss key components of the Grant application, provide Site history and environmental context, and receive community feedback.
