NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)

The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha, d/b/a/ Metro is seeking qualified responsible contractors to provide Snow Removal and Ice Management Services for a period of maximum three (3) years for Metro owned properties to include, the 2222 Cuming Campus, Transit Centers, ORBT Stations and bus shelters at various locations around Omaha, Nebraska.

Bidder will supply all necessary and needed labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, to remove snow and ice. Staffing for this project is expected to be qualified, with proper training and qualifications to provide Snow Removal and Ice Management Services.

There will be one (1) Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on September 3, 2024, at 11:00 am. Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the Metro Board room. Requests for Clarifications, Substitutions or approved equals must be submitted in writing on the forms provided in this solicitation no later than September 5, 2024.

Metro will receive sealed bids for that purpose, until September 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m. Central Time, (“Submission Deadline”). Proposals not received by Metro as of the Submission Deadline will not be considered responsive and will not be opened.  Bids not meeting specified delivery and methods of submittal will not be considered responsive and will not be opened. Metro reserves the right to extend the Submission Deadline by issuing an Addendum. The full IFB and related documents maybe found at https://www.ometro.com/current-solicitations/. Open Public Bid will be held the same day as submission deadline at the Metro Board Room.

Metro prefers Bids be submitted via Mail or hand delivery. The upper-left hand corner of the sealed enveloped must identify the following information:
