Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha NP Dodge Park Cricket Field Irrigation, 1101 John J Pershing Drive Omaha, NE are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, 11:00 A.M. on: Wednesday, September 14, 2022, as per the project’s specifications.

Sealed bids to be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked BID ON: “City of Omaha NP Dodge Cricket Field Irrigation”, must be in her office on or before 11:00 A.M. on: Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.

Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained at the offices of the following printers: A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402-592-4950), and Standard Digital Imaging, 4426 South 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68137 (800-642-8062) on or after Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Bidders may view the contract documents (plans & specifications, etc.) on the project free of charge from their websites. Electronic or hard copy prints of all contract documents may be obtained from any one of them by contacting them directly and placing an order. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by the printer to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders may receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact the printer for the cost associated with your request.

There will be a non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. The meeting will be held NP Dodge Park, 1101 John J Pershing Drive Omaha, NE. Meeting will be held rain or shine.

This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for 00% of the total bid amount. For  additional information see Specification Section 00 20 00, ‘Instructions to Bidders”, Part 2.16, “Utilization of Small and Emerging Small Business”.

This project does not require the bidder to submit an Economic Equity and Inclusion Program (EEIP) Plan or an approved EEIP Certificate with their bid.

As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
