REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 27, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

2816 Ames Redevelopment Project Plan.

Applicant: AH 2816 Ames

Omaha Neb LLC

Location: 2816 Ames Avenue

 

The redevelopment project plan proposes the existing one story building will be thoroughly renovated for use as a medical clinic.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the May 3, 2023 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $321,729.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as building rehabilitation construction costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,500,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

Digs Apartments Mason

Redevelopment Project Plan.

Applicant: Uptown Apartments LLC

Location: Southeast of Marcy and

South 31st Street

 

The redevelopment project plan proposes the four existing, vacant single family homes on the project site will be demolished and two new apartment buildings of four and five stories will be constructed.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the May 3, 2023 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $4,114,758.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site work, and architectural and engineering costs and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $46,087,630.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 27, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

7101 Mercy

Redevelopment Project Plan.

Applicant: 7101 Mercy Holdings LLC

Location: 7101 Mercy Road

 

The redevelopment project plan proposes the demolition of an existing office building and the construction of a new four story apartment building. A new five story parking structure will also be built on the site with a bridge connecting it to the apartment building on the third floor.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the May 3, 2023 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $6,549,341.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, materials used for increased exterior aesthetic design appeal, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $49,987,177.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
