PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on April 30, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 182nd and Fort Streets from AGAgricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density).

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Woodbrook West (Lots 33-189 and Outlots B-D) (formerly Sagewood Ridge), a subdivision outside the city limits, located northwest of 182nd and Fort Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Celebrity Homes, Inc., the Woodbrook West Homeowners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 634 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Woodbrook West (Lots 33-189) and is located northwest of 182nd and Fort Streets.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 3002 Paddock Road from R6-Low-Density MultipleFamily Residential District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.

An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District located at 3002 Paddock Road, to approve the Development Plan.

Anyone interested in these matters should be in attendance.

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha d/b/a Metro hereby publishes its CY 2025 Program of Projects (POP). The total federal share of Section 5307 funds available to the Omaha NE-IA urbanized area is 23,108,369 of which 15,953,697 will be requested for the following projects: Support Equipment/Facilities (5,153,463), Unified Planning Work Program (1,212,482), Transit Enhancements (488,800), Capitalized Operational Expenses (1,738,952), and Preventative Maintenance (7,360,000). The total 5307 POP is 19,942,122 of which 15,953,697 is the federal share and 3,988,424 is Metro’s local share. The total federal share of Section 5339 funds available to the Omaha NE-IA urbanized area is 2,040,491 of which 1,107,004 will be requested for the following projects: Rolling Stock (640,000), Support Equipment & Facilities (400,000), Training (67,004). The total 5339 POP is 1,383,755 of which 1,107,004 is the federal share and 276,751 is Metro’s local share.   Direct comments to: Grant Administrator, 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68102, until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24th. The POP is available for public inspection from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at Metro’s Administrative Offices located at the address provided above. If a written request for a public hearing is received prior to the end of the comment period same shall be scheduled and the public notified. If no comments or requests for a public hearing are received, this will be considered the final POP.
