PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 19, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance to rezone property located at 1820 and 1816 North 33rd Street from GC-General Commercial District to CC-Community Commercial District.

An ordinance to rezone property located at 2319 North 18th Street from GC-General Commercial District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

An ordinance to rezone property located at 2451 Saint Mary’s Avenue from DS-Downtown Service District to CBD-Central Business District (property is within an ACI-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District).

An ordinance to rezone property located at 4252 South 207th Street from MU-Mixed Use District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.

An ordinance to rezone property located at an irregular shaped parcel (parcel #0910702284) located adjacent to the southwest of 3404 South 144th Street from DR-Development Reserve District to DR-Development Reserve District.

An ordinance to rezone property located at an irregular shaped parcel (parcel #0910702284) located adjacent to the southwest of 3404 South 144th Street from DR-Development Reserve District to MU-Mixed Use District.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI- Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 8552 Cass Street.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 4707 South 96th Street.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 4925 L Street.

Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Debra Perrotto for a Special Use Permit to allow Daycare services (general) in the R4 District, located at 13708 Larimore Avenue, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.

Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Brad Bader for a Special Use Permit to allow Large group living in the LC District, located at 3347 and 3343 Ames Avenue, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.

Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Robert Kozol, for a Major Amendment to the Special Use Permit to allow Convenience storage in a CC-Community Commercial District, located northeast of Highway 75 and Interstate 680, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with; and, that the proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
