Waiver of Section 55-206 – Variance to the required front yard setback from 35’ to 18.3’ and to the street side yard setback from 15’ to 6.2’ to allow a partially constructed covered front porch to remain and for construction to resume; 2302 S. 35th St. 

Waiver of Section 55-715 – Variance to the minimum street yard landscaping requirement from 60% to 49% to allow for the construction of a driveway addition to serve a new garage addition; 17601 Miami Cir.

Waiver of Section 55-126 – Variance to the maximum impervious coverage from 30% to 33%, to the rear yard setback from 35’ to 11’, and to the interior side yard setback from 25’ to 13’ to allow for the addition of an existing pool house and renovation/addition of a backyard patio area; 6600 Underwood Ave.

Waiver of Sections 55-246 & 55-715 – Variance to the maximum impervious coverage from 70% to 89% and to the minimum street yard landscaping from 50% to 30% to allow for a previously re-poured and expanded driveway to remain; 622 Center St.

Waiver of Section 55-126 – Variance to the required rear yard setback from 35’ to 18.25’ to allow for the construction of a new wood deck to serve a new pool; 516 S. 96th St.

The Regional Transit Authority of the City of Omaha d/b/a/ Metro

 

PROJECT: NE-2023-023-00 SPEC: 11-23 GARAGE DOORS REPLACEMENTS.

NOTICE OF IFB

 

The Regional Transit Authority of the City of Omaha, d/b/a/ Metro is seeking qualified suppliers to remove and replace various sizes of rolling garage doors at the Administration Building Bus Storage Area located at 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE.  The removal and replacement shall meet all City of Omaha and State of Nebraska codes.

Metro will receive sealed bids for that purpose, until November 22, 2023, 2:00 p.m. Central Time, (“Submission Deadline”). Proposals not received by Metro as of the Submission Deadline will not be considered responsive and will not be opened.  Bids not meeting specified delivery and methods of submittal will not be considered responsive and will not be opened. Metro reserves the right to extend the Submission Deadline by issuing an Addendum. The full IFB and related documents maybe found at www. ometro.com. 

There will be two (2) Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conferences: (1) on October 10, 2023, at 10:00am (2) on October 13, 2023 at 10:00 am. Pre- Bid Conference will be held in the Metro Board room and will include a walkthrough of the shop area. If you will be attending, please wear closed toes shoes and bring a high visibility safety vest. Requests for Clarifications, Substitutions or approved equals must be submitted in writing on the forms provided in this solicitation no later than Monday October 23, 2023, at 10:00 am.

NOTICE

 

The members of the Omaha Douglas Public Building Commission will convene a meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Legislative Chamber, Room LC-4, in the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of adopting the 2023-2024 Request for Final Levy Allocation.  The budget and final levy allocation detail is available in the Office of the Administrator.  An agenda for said meeting, kept continually current, is available for public inspection in the Office of the Administrator, Civic Center Suite 1205, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, but the Commission shall have the right to modify the agenda at said meeting when convened.  If a signer is needed, please call our office at least five days prior to the meeting.

The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) hereby requests proposals from qualified.

Cell Tower Consultants to serve as OHA’s cell tower lease consultant. To obtain a copy of the proposal documents, please contact OHA’s Procurement department at contracts@ohauthority.org.
